What does #ItAintWeakToSpeak mean to you? Its breaking the perception that we need to be strong and bottle up our emotions, it aint weak to speak = reach out and talk to someone!
3 things you do for your personal wellness
I’m all about wellness and mindfulness, its the biggest contributor to me and my physical performance – three things I do; Get some mindfulness; I use Buddify every night, sometimes twice a day to get in 10 or so minutes of quiet time… this helps me refocus and keep grounded.
Exercise and Nutrition; SO IMPORTANT! Being active helps me keep a clear head, and eating healthy helps with my energy levels, even just a light walk in the mornings helps me keep my personal wellness in check!
Do something for yourself; As an athlete I ask so much from my mind and body everyday, its so important for my personal wellness to take some time for myself and give back. This changes every week from a massage, float pod session to sometimes its just taking myself out to breakfast and reading a good book!
If you could invite 4 people dead or alive to your house for dinner (excluding family and friends because they are already there) who would you choose and why?
Richie McCaw – My all time favourite athlete Jennifer Lawrence aka Katniss – I think she would be a hoot! Luke Hodge – Another favourite athlete David Attenborough – for if we want to hear about something other then sport…
