The TRL Charity Cup held at Fairfield in Brisbane, Queensland is a day filled with excitement, fun and of course, lots of rugby league! Established in 2005, TRL introduced the concept of a no-tackle version of rugby league for men and women of all ages.
This year, the incredible management and players at TRL South Brisbane selected LIVIN as their designated charity for their famous Charity Cup event. With an emphasis on fun, fitness, getting out there and having a go, the support this event received was not surprising.
At the end of the day LIVIN was presented with a cheque from TRL South Brisbane for the hugely impressive amount of over $5,000. The amount has been received with thanks for helping us to keep spreading the message amongst sports players young and old, that there is help out there if suffering from mental illness.
Through choosing LIVIN as their designated charity, our name and message that It Ain't Weak To Speak, also had the chance to reach every volunteer, players, spectator and referee that attended the event.
Thank you again to TRL South Brisbane for your support both on and off the field! You guys are true legends. If your sports club or event would like more information about click here to check out how to support LIVIN at your next fundraiser.
