Ireland Basinger Baldwin Speaks On Dealing With Family Trauma In The Media & How She Deals With Anxiety

On the show today, I’m joined by Ireland Basinger Baldwin. Ireland has accomplished so much in her life from modelling to acting to screenwriting and she is here to share her mental health journey from a childhood in the public spotlight to currently living with health anxiety each day.
In this episode, Ireland shares her experiences growing up in the media, the mental health repercussions when her parents were going through a very public divorce, her breaking points, recovery, coping strategies and her personal journey with health anxiety.
Ireland has learned to deal with paparazzi and keyboard trolls who would spend their time typing negative comments about photos published online. Being an empathetic person, Ireland has developed compassion for them and feels sorry they are living in such a dark place.
Throughout her life, she has had breaking points that led her to reevaluate her life and the people she had in it. With the help of her family, she was able to seek help and recover from toxic relationships and toxic people.
Ireland openly talks about her struggles with health anxiety and how she manages it through lifestyle and natural remedies. This strikes such a personal chord for me as I also experience health anxiety and we explore together what it involves to spread the message to more people.
