LIVINwell Program for the Clontarf Foundation

Opening in 2000 to a class of 25 boys, the Clontarf Foundation is now catering to over 5,600 boys across 92 schools throughout Australia. The Foundation was established to engage and support young men of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island descent and provide them with the best possible to start to their high school education and career.

This unique program is delivered through various football academies who have partnered with local schools and works with eligible students by creating an environment that encourages growth, development and respect through their passion for Australian Rules or Rugby League.

One of our own (and most passionate) LIVIN team members, Alistair Mitchell, recently had the privilege of presenting our LIVINwell program to the Clontarf Foundation students at the Sanderson Middle School in Darwin, Northern Territory.

By delivering this presentation to the students, we are helping to instill the benefits of talking about mental illness and using the support networks the students already have available through their peers, teachers and team mates.
